[HUMBLOT] SAVIGNON [André] – FILLES DE LA PLUIE. Ouessant. Paris: Robert Léger, art publisher, 1966. Folio (approx. 38 x 29 cm). Loose-leaf, with a padded cover bearing the title in blue, a cloth slipcase and the publisher’s cloth slipcase, with the title on the spine. Illustrated with 15 colour compositions by Robert HUMBLOT, several of which are double-page spreads, stencil-coloured in the Daniel Jacomet workshops; text set by hand in De Roos typeface; title, half-titles and initials wood-engraved; printed by Dominique Viglino. Limited edition of 190 numbered copies (plus 100 copies for overseas and 20 lettered copies). This copy, no. LXXIX, is one of 50 copies on super-pearlescent Japanese paper, enhanced with a colour suite on Arches paper, bound in a cloth slipcase. Very good condition. Pages fresh; slipcase stained (ring marks).
