A chest of drawers with a slight central projection, made of precious wood veneer in a butterfly-wing inlay pattern set within frames of fillets and Greek frets; the side panels feature faux fluting. It has three drawers, two of which have no cross-bars; the top drawer serves as a writing shelf and conceals smaller drawers. It stands on small, curved feet and has a veined white marble top.
