Jean Émile Fredet Horse-drawn Carriage
A large omnibus built around 1860 in Paris by one of the many coachbuilders of the time.
The carriage is offered with a 6/8-seater interior and two front seats. The carriage is in a state of preservation and has not been in use for a long time. The roof rack is in good condition and undamaged.
The decorative patterns on the painted parts are faded but still visible; the fittings are still in place, notably the leather mudguard. The coachman’s hood remains stretched over the hoops; the backrests and seats are intact and clean. All the windows are present. The rear window sliding strap is present and still attached to the frame.
The two lanterns fitted are not the original ones.
The rear step is intact, complete with its metal step cover.
