* Émile GALLÉ (1846-1904). Beautiful tin-glazed earthenware set with polychrome enamelled painted decoration presenting 3 pieces characteristic of Émile Gallé's Japonism: - A delightful cutaway tea caddy with a Japanese-style decoration of a teapot in bloom and a marker bearing the initials of Émile Gallé. Crack on the lid and small chips around the base. Enamelled stamp painted on the reverse, Saint Clément, circa 1877. H. 12 cm. (A crack to the lid) ; - A milk jug with a japanese décor of a seashore and goldfish. Signed Gallé Nancy. H. 10.5 cm ; - Covered creamer with rotating decoration of plants and a fluttering butterfly, the frétel of the lid in the shape of a peony bud; the border enhanced with gold. Signed Gallé under the base. H. 10 cm.
