Description
US Navy flight log Flight log of a crew member on a PBM Mariner seaplane that belonged to Harold S. Vernet. Having qualified at the Jacksonville base in Florida, Vernet was posted as a crew member (presumably a gunner) to Lt. Brandt’s crew in a patrol, reconnaissance and sea-rescue unit from January 1945. Only the pages of his logbook from June 1945 onwards contain details of his missions in the Pacific.
