Description
USAAF Type A-14 oxygen mask
This oxygen mask was the most widely used by USAAF aircrew during the Second World War. This example, dated 1944, comes with its box, accessory pouch and instruction leaflet. Size: Large. Two side straps have been cut off, but the canvas fastening tabs with press studs are intact and are included with the set. It is possible to purchase a set of rubber straps, which are remanufactured in the USA or the UK in a similar colour, as this type of material tends to dry out over time and become brittle. This product is available from Bell’s Aviation under the name ‘A-14 Oxygen Mask Reproduction Replacement Rubber Straps’ via the link https://www.bellsaviation.com or via Facebook through John Banet
