Description
T-44 microphone and radio wiring An essential accessory used by the majority of fighter pilots in the 8th and 9th Air Forces in Europe. This American-made wiring harness mimics the design and appearance of the Royal Air Force radio wiring harness and is fitted into the nose section of American A-10 or A-14 type oxygen masks. The advantage of this accessory was that, in the event of having to abandon the aircraft, the pilot only had to unplug a single socket rather than having to disconnect the headphones and the laryngophone. A specimen in mint condition in its original box, complete with its assembly instructions.
