Estimate €800 - €1,000
Description
USAAF AN-6510 seat-parachute This parachute was the most widely used by USAAF fighter pilots. This example, manufactured by Switlik, is complete apart from the canopy, as the lines have been cut – a characteristic feature of post-war deactivation procedures. The back pad is dated 1942, and the canopy bag bears a pre-war contract number with the letters ‘AC’ standing for ‘Air Corps’.
