Description
Collection of USSAF B-17 photographs. Most of this collection of photographs was taken in the United States during the training period of a B-17 crew. Most of the photographs are dated ‘May 1944’ on the back. A few photographs of monuments taken in England suggest that this crew was assigned to the 8th Air Force in England. The name of the pilot and crew chief, Bob Nielsen, is written on the back of one photograph. Approximately 50 photographs.
