CHINA, LATE 19TH CENTURY – CIRCA 1900. Lot comprising: China, circa 1900 and modern work, a set of seven cloisonné enamelled objects on copper, comprising a pair of bulbous, long-necked vases on pedestals, a baluster vase converted into a lamp, a circular lidded box and three miniature objects including an egg, a baluster vase and a lidded pot, with varied polychrome decoration featuring butterflies, lotus flowers and plum blossoms set against a blue background. Height 5 to 34 cm. Diameter of box: 9 cm And: Canton, late 19th century, a pair of baluster vases in ‘Famille Rose’ style enamels, with fluted, pavilion-shaped necks, decorated with medallions depicting court scenes against a floral background. Four salamander-like dragons in half-relief adorn the rim of the neck, with two dragons forming the handles.
