Unpaginated [37 leaves], numerous ornamental designs in white and gold within and outside the text. Volume unbound. As is. First edition of this collection of prose poems, illustrated by Louis Fuchs in the true Art Nouveau spirit. The ‘Danses’ are lithographically printed on chromosatin paper. They are illustrated on every page, and the figures, rather than being printed in tones on white paper, are left as white areas against the pearl-grey background of the paper. The drawings are printed in gold, and Jérôme Doucet’s text in purple. A copy on tinted vellum, following the first 100 printed on Imperial Japanese paper.
