42 colour maps, spread across two pages, mounted on tabs.
Some water stains on the front cover, tears to the head and foot (no loss).
Atlas ‘adopted by the Minister of War’, comprising 42 colour maps from the Lemercier printing works, engraved by Geisendörfer. It contains nineteen maps of various French territories, fourteen maps of Europe and nine maps of various regions of the world, including a planisphere.
Included: 6 loose maps taken from various works (quarto format), including maps of Italy, Africa, the United Kingdom, Alsace and Lorraine, Austria and Hungary.
