Rare reprint of the Fermiers généraux edition of 1762 with 2 frontispiece portraits, 80 plates by Eisen and 3 plates refused, all under serpents.
Some scattered foxing and marginal repairs, trace of adhesive tape on p. 31 of vol. 1, head-cap of vol. 2 fragile, otherwise a good copy. Engraved bookplate Michel CAIL, leather bookplate KF. (Rochambeau, p. 531, n°101)
