Careful reprint of the Fermiers généraux edition with the copperplates retouched and refurbished, three of which have been redone, and 17 new fleurons and culs-de-lampe, making a total of 2 portrait-frontispices (La Fontaine and Eisen), 83 out-of-text engravings by Charles Eisen and 74 headpieces, fleurons and culs-de-lampe.
Edition of 1004 copies, this one of 100 on Chine, 3rd paper after 4 on vellum and 100 on Whatmann.
