2 vol. in-12, midnight blue morocco, ornate ribbed spine, titled, tomé, localisé and dated, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, wide inner lace, gilt edges, common edged slipcase (Zaenhdorf - London, England).
Reprint of the Desbordes edition of 1685, illustrated with a frontispiece, 58 mid-page engravings by R. de HOOGHE, and 4 anonymous full-page garvures for the last 4 tales.
Joints old and finely restored, a few ff. restored including the frontispiece and title pages. A fine copy. Two bookplates: Francis Bayard Rives and KF.
