A rare official UNESCO table medal – PRESERVATION OF THE BOROBUDUR TEMPLES (Java) – designed by the artist Thérèse DUFRESNE (1937–2010) - Buddha seen from behind against the backdrop of the city’s temples – reverse featuring a gradient landscape design – magnificent engraving in stepped relief.
80 mm – 478 grams – the edge bears the inscription ‘copper’, the date 1983 and a horn hallmark.
