Description
SAINT MARCELLIN in ISÈRE and GRENOBLE – Photographic mementoes of the sub-prefect of Saint Marcellin (at that time a small town serving as a sub-prefecture). Two ‘Kodak clichés’ albums, dated Grenoble, October 1907, and Saint Marcellin, May to September 1906. Approximately 150 rolls of 6 x 8 cm negative film – family snapshots, women, children, friends, family life, monuments and the prefecture, etc. Some photographs may be removed; many of the images are unusable…but “well worth it” for a local history society or archive collection; it is certainly of great interest.
