WONG LEE Manufactory (founded in 1895) in HONG KONG. A pair of table candlesticks in polychrome porcelain, decorated with green macaws perched on rocky outcrops, with relief carvings of caterpillars, insects and flowers. They are set in chiselled bronze mounts with a golden Rocaille patina in the Louis XV style for the base and the candlestick head. Marked ‘WL’ and dated ‘1895’ in red beneath the bases. H. 37 cm.
