Louis XV period chest of drawers in rosewood veneer opening with five drawers in three rows. Elegant model with frieze decoration and rich chased and patinated bronze fittings with jagged clasp motifs, including corner falls. Grey veined marble top with restored corbin beak. 85 x 130 x 65 cm. The right-hand side has been damaged and restored. Signed by the cabinet-maker Jean Baptiste GALET, received his master's diploma in 1754 (stamped twice with a sworn mark).
