A mahogany-veneered secretary desk, with decorative side panels in patinated bronze depicting busts of Athenian women in tunics, finished with claw feet. It opens via a top drawer and two doors in the lower section, concealing three drawers. The centre opens to reveal a leather-covered drop-down writing surface, revealing nine drawers in three rows and a central niche with small columns. Two pull handles in the shape of lion’s paws.
