ROLEX Oyster Perpetual Lady Datejust gold watch, ref. 69178 or, more precisely, 6917-8, serial number: 5502719 (Year 1978) fluted bezel, baton hour-markers, date at 3 o’clock beneath the cyclops lens, ‘champagne tapestry’ dial, known as ‘Linen’. Among the twenty or so dial references available for the 69178, the ‘Linen’ is one of the most sought-after. Gross weight: 69.17 g. Minor scratches. Super President bracelet. Model produced from the mid-1970s to the early 1990s. A very fine vintage watch in 18-carat yellow gold, 26 mm in diameter, in good overall condition with a patina from wear.
