Description
Land survey.
An important handwritten document on laid paper, comprising 21 pages written in brown ink.
The register describes various plots of land, including their areas and boundaries, according to the traditional cardinal directions: east, west, south and north. It is illustrated with numerous plot plans drawn in pen and highlighted with red-orange wash, with measurements given in perches, as well as small diagrams showing the shape of the plots.
Several deeds or entries appear to span the 18th century.
