Small trunk, probably for hats, made of brown painted canvas with black stripes, handle on top, three gilded metal locks at the front, emerald green silk lining, with two compartments for a foldable top hat to be slipped in on either side, and a top hat to be secured with the elastic bands on the flap. Adhesive labels DRP85676 and featuring a coin from the Republic of Saxony. H38xD38xW43cm. Signs of wear, crazing, oxidation.
