Description
A two-section sideboard in mahogany and mahogany veneer, with the lower section opening to reveal two doors carved with geometric motifs and two drawers running along the side. The upper section forms a display cabinet and opens to reveal a recess, three bevelled glazed doors with muntin bars, and two shelves. Brass keyholes and hinges. Art Nouveau piece from the Vienna Secession period. (Dimensions: 220 x 51.5 x 115 cm) (a few scratches above the lower section)
This sideboard is reminiscent of the work of Heinrich Bäck, a Viennese cabinetmaker.
