Voluntary lot
Description
LARGE BOX OF UNSORTED WORLD STAMPS – binder, album, envelopes, loose stamp sleeves … Stamps with backing paper and without, philatelic documents, letters received. This lot requires a great deal of sorting work and has not been fully examined given its condition – of particular note is a thematic album of complete, mint-condition series, which alone is worth at least 60 euros (approximately 35 series).
Also included in this lot are 260 First Day Covers from the Postal Museum, known as ‘official covers’, and First Day certificates; these covers alone hold significant value in terms of the individual stamps they contain.
