Jean COCTEAU (1889–1963) Lot comprising five drawings: - *The Newspaper Reader*, pencil on paper, signed ‘Jean étoile’ in the bottom right-hand corner, 27 x 21 cm; - Portrait of a Man, pencil on paper, signed “Jean étoile” lower right, 27 x 21 cm; - Sketch of a Guitar Player, pencil on paper, signed “Jean étoile” lower left, inventory number on the reverse, 27 x 21 cm; - The Double-Headed Eagle, pencil on paper, signed “Jean Cocteau étoile” at the bottom centre, with the inscription “L’Aigle (?)” in the centre, 27 x 21 cm; - Portrait sketches, pencil on paper, signed “JC étoile” in the bottom right-hand corner, 21 x 13.5 cm.
