Paul GAUGUIN (1848–1903), after Hina and Te Fatou Bronze cast with a brown patina. Cast to the dimensions of the original model, numbered as one of 12 copies. Bears a stamp from an Alsatian foundry (Endeya). Comes with a certificate. The original, sculpted around 1892 during his stay in Tahiti, illustrates the artist’s interest in primitive art and local myths.
