[BARRAUD]. CARCO (Francis). *La Bohème et mon cœur*. Geneva, Éditions du Milieu du Monde, [1943]. Folio in folio-sized sheets, with the publisher’s slipcase and cover. Waterstains on the cover, a few very scattered throughout the text. ILLUSTRATED EDITION featuring 11 original etchings by Maurice BARRAUD, including a large title vignette and 10 full-page plates. Limited edition of 319 copies, including 20 not for sale. ONE of the 270 numbered copies on pure-rag Ingres laid paper, cut to the Guarro Casas format. AUTOGRAPH SIGNATURES by the author and the illustrator on the margin. This copy is enhanced by an autograph, full-page POEM entitled ‘Carnaval’ (page 53 of the book), signed by the author, as well as a small ORIGINAL DRAWING in blue ink (a self-portrait of the author in profile).
