[CARME-DUPLAN]. A HISTORICAL ACCOUNT OF THE BATTLE FOUGHT ON 10 APRIL 1814, beneath the walls of Toulouse, [etc.]. Toulouse, Bénichet Cadet, undated [1814–1815]. Three parts bound in one 8vo volume in red calfskin, the coat of arms of Toulouse in colour mosaic in the centre of the front cover, plain spine, black chagrin title label (modern binding). FIRST EDITION of this account by an engineer officer who witnessed the Battle of Toulouse, which took place at the city gates. One PLAN, one fold-out PLATE showing a proposed monument, one fold-out MAP of Toulouse and three large, colour-illustrated fold-out PLANS. The title page and most of the plates are signed in black ink by the author with his initials ‘C. D.’. ¶ Missing from Tulard – Quérard, II, 53 – Barbier, III, 980.
