Folio size, in the publisher’s aubergine-coloured percaline binding; covers decorated with a frame of gilt scrolls with a coat of arms embossed in gold at the centre; spine with gilt panels featuring a cipher and gilt metal fittings; gilt title, red-stained head, and gilt-illustrated endpapers. FIRST EDITION of this fine reference work containing 14 ETCHINGS and 76 drawings by Peter Halm. Binding faded and worn, but the book itself is in perfect condition.
