Their histories and traditions, whether true or fabled, their religions, sects and politics [etc.]. Paris, Compagnie des Libraires, 1697. Folio in marbled fawn sheepskin, unmarked ribbed spine in suede leather, red edges (contemporary binding); (16) folios, 1060 pp. Spine of the binding has been repaired, corners very worn with losses, scuffing on the covers; at the bottom margin, the quire endpaper has been gnawed away by a few millimetres, without affecting the text; the top margin from page 1017 to the end of the volume has been skilfully restored, with occasional loss of pagination.
