[PYRENEES]. PETIT (Victor). BAGNÈRES-DE-LUCHON AND ITS SURROUNDINGS. Dulon, Bagnères-de-Luchon, [c. 1855]. Italian-style quarto in the publisher’s ivy-green grained cloth, with rocaille metalwork and gilt title on the upper cover, cold-stamped border and corner fleurons. Scuffs and discolouration on the covers, more pronounced on the second cover; scattered light foxing; some marginal water stains. ALBUM containing a large title VIGNETTE and 25 PLATES (including 3 double plates and 1 triple plate) with scrollwork borders, drawn and lithographed by Victor PETIT. They were printed by Thierry in Paris and published in 1854 and 1855. Some albums could contain up to 30 plates, depending on the composition chosen by booksellers of the time. ¶ Labarère, 1169 – Dendaletche, 1452 and 3352.
