Oblong quarto, brown calfskin, double blind-stamped border, decorated ribbed spine, red title label (contemporary binding). A rare illustrated atlas featuring a full-page frontispiece, 20 full-page maps, and 101 panoramas and views of the most important cities of the Holy Roman Empire and neighbouring countries. Handwritten bookplate on the title page: ‘Oratoriis Parisiensis catalogio inscriptus 1759’. Restoration to the binding; spine rebuilt. Leather-covered boards. Restoration to a few leaves; faint waterstains; some foxing.
