Description
Zundapp KS 750 Frame numbers & production plate #611956 Engine numbers #634063 Produced in 1943 Emblematic model of the Reich's armies Restored and functional French collector's registration In 1939, Zundapp was selected as the Heer's official supplier to Bmw. The KS models proved to be high-performance off-road vehicles. Technically modern, with transmission on the sidecar, a hydraulic braking system and a limited slip differential. The KS 750 remains one of the most accomplished and reliable models. An emblematic model of the Heer and SS, the sidecars were used in all theatres of operations, from the icy steppes of Russia to the desert of Libya, the Zundapp was on every battlefield. This KS 750 was found in its original condition in the south of France. Used after the war as an everyday motorbike, it was then put away for years. The state in which it was found necessitated a complete restoration, retaining all the restorable original parts and using new production ones. The Steib basket had suffered too much damage over time, so a new one was made. The ambassador of an occupying army, this imposing but renowned Zundapp model is still a great collector's item.
