Mae West" Type B-4 Life Vest - 502nd PIR - 101st Airborne Division Waistcoat marked "G.V.M." corresponding to the initials of George Van Horn Moseley Jr commanding the 502nd PIR. This regiment took an active part in the Battle of Carentan. Dated 30 March 1943. Inspected in March 1944. All straps present. Co2 cartridges missing. Found near Sainte-Mère-Église.
