Leather binding, with some leather missing, cap edges worn down, corners worn, foxing. FIRST EDITION OF THE FRENCH TRANSLATION, by Fréville, of this account of Cook’s second voyage attributed to John Marra, a member of the crew of the ‘Resolution’. This is an account independent of Cook’s official report.
