Description
Bedside holy water font.
Carved from corozo. Bell-shaped base decorated with foliage. The basin is surmounted by the Crucifixion, with the Virgin and, unusually and curiously, a Capuchin monk (replacing the usual Saint John) at the foot of the cross, which is adorned with a rear buttress in imitation masonry.
