A substantial, large quarto volume, paperback, with a cover printed in red and black, untrimmed. Minor tears to the cover, with no pages missing. FIRST EDITION OF THE FIRST VOLUME of this work of historical, architectural and genealogical documentation on the residences and families of Rouergue, this volume being devoted to the cantons of Séverac, Laissac and Campagnac. Two further volumes were subsequently published in 1935 and 1961. It is illustrated with 22 out-of-text etchings by Renaud de Lévezou de Vezins, with captions beneath the images. Limited edition of 283 copies. One of the 150 numbered copies on alfa paper (no. 124). AUTOGRAPHED COPY SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR to his sister, on the half-title page: ‘To my sister, the lovely B de Fournas / in memory of our time in Grun and as a token of my affection.
