Antique “Crescent Moon” brooch set in silver (800/oo) and 18K yellow gold (750/oo), set with two small old-cut diamonds and rose-cut diamonds. The main stones are missing, as are many of the surrounding diamonds; the rear pin has been replaced with metal. Diameter: approximately 34 mm. “Horse’s Head” hallmark, late 19th century.
