Description
[MANUSCRIT] Plans of the fiefs of la Cordoüan and la grande Galbaudière situated in the parishes of Dyzé, Counée, St Georges and Ste Gemme le Robert. Late 18th century. In folio, interesting manuscript terrier concerning the area around Saintes-Gemmes-le-Robert, located in Mayenne between Laval and Le Mans. It comprises 38 double-page traced plans, three of which are in colour, some of the boundaries enhanced. Compass rose on each plate, names of owners, plot numbers and records of houses and buildings noted in ink. Bound in full used vellum with laces, titled in ink on the first cover, smooth spine. (laces attached, detachment and stains on binding).
