Description
Japanese Wakisachi Edo period, total length 760 mm, blade 535 mm. The blade is largely unoxidised, with a few slightly deeper marks towards the tip, and the temper line can be seen in places. Round steel tsuba with a simple scalloped pattern, tsuka dressed in white samé and still retaining its black silk braid with a few minor accidents. No scabbard. As the pin through the tang is locked in place, it has not been possible to check whether the tang is signed. Condition 1-
