[PICASSO] GARCÍA LORCA [Federico] – FUNERAL SONG FOR IGNACIO SÁNCHEZ MEJÍAS. Previously unpublished translation by Randal LEMOINE. Bièvres, Pierre de Tartas (Moulin de Vauboyen), 1976. Folio (approx. 38.5 x 28.5 cm). Loose-leaf, with a cover illustrated with an embossed design, a slipcase and the publisher’s slipcase in black cloth with gold and red lettering. Illustrated with five engraved embossed designs after Pablo PICASSO and colour and wash compositions after Picasso, wood-engraved by Guy DESCOUENS, as both insert and in-text illustrations. Text set by hand in Bodoni, printed by Pierre Jean Mathan; prints produced by the Desclais workshops. Limited edition of 306 copies. This copy is no. 121, one of 220 copies on large-format Arches vellum, signed by the publisher and certified by a bailiff. Good condition. Scattered foxing, more pronounced on a few leaves; slipcase slightly rubbed.
