Leather binding on 5 bands with a roundel (slightly scuffed, upper capital with a small tear). A rare edition of the epigrams. – Adams M 702 – Schweigger 2, p. 595 – The pointed and partly satirical epigrams offer a scathing yet humorous take on misers, quacks, inheritance hunters, courtesans and plagiarists. - Some browning and occasional light foxing; several pages with small brown crinkles; slightly close-cropped at the top margin (no loss of text).
