The publication played a significant role in disseminating English political thought throughout the rest of Europe, and particularly within the Holy Roman Empire. The title uses the Ptolemaic world view prevalent at the time (which posited a series of nested celestial spheres) as a metaphor for a stable state. According to this view, an ideal state functions as harmoniously and orderly as the universe itself. - Last few pages with a few inconspicuous wormholes. This lot is subject to standard tax.
