A letter from Henry Miller’s close confidant Emil White to Wilfried Sezepan in Berlin. Following Miller’s death, Emil White founded the Henry Miller Memorial Library in his home in Big Sur and administered Miller’s estate. In the letter, he recounts Miller’s trip to Europe and his stay in Berlin, where he is believed to have stayed with Renate Gerhardt. The translator and editor Renate Gerhardt had a relationship with Henry Miller, and he provided financial support for the publishing house she had founded. – Slight discolouration at the edges.
