Thoma family
A collection of 13 autograph books, autograph book cases, diaries, sketchbooks and notebooks, presumably mainly from the Thoma family’s collection. With entries from Bromberg (Bydgoszcz), Berlin, Chemnitz, Gommingen, Halle, etc., 19th century. Various formats. Various bindings, some with gold and blind embossing (paper, leather, half-leather, cloth, velvet), some with gilt edges and slipcases (mostly worn, some with dents).
Contains: an album with 45 entries and 2 drawings for Therese Thoma, as well as 40 autograph book pages for her brother Hugo, some with repeated entries. Circa 1832–1839.
