Poland – Poznań To the Royal and Most Honourable District and Town Court in Rawicz (Rawitsch). Punitz, 9 October 1840. 1 page on 1 sheet. Approx. 34 x 20 cm. The Prussian District and Town Court in Rawitsch existed from 1834 to 1849 and had jurisdiction over part of the Kröben district. – Confirmation by the magistrate of Pünitz, signed Lubetcki, that the married couple Karl August Rothert “1. a garden situated on the road to Smilowa, and 2. half a quart of arable land with half of the associated barn … have sold to the merchant Johann Samuel Rothert”. - Folding creases; in the left-hand white margin, a section cut out for the seal (paper-covered seal preserved on the reverse); 3 lines underlined; page edges partly slightly browned, a few small spots here and there and somewhat creased in places, otherwise generally well preserved.
