Half leather with gold-stamped title on the spine (worn and bumped, hinge cracked). Extremely rare on the market. We have only been able to trace it in 8 institutions. – With ownership stamp of the Imperial and Royal State School of Applied Arts, Graz, Austria. - Contains 13 of the 15 published parts covering the letters A, B, E, F, G, H, IJK, L, M, N, O&P, Q&R, S. Includes, amongst other things, a brief historical treatise on monograms with a particular focus on Great Britain. - Edges slightly browned, book block slightly damaged. Overall, in good condition. 13 (of 15) parts in 1 volume. With 69 lithographic plates, some coloured. - Extremely rare on the market; we have located copies in only 8 institutions. - Bearing the ownership stamp of the K.k. Staatsgewerbeschule (Imperial-Royal State Trade School), Graz, Austria. - Contains 13 of the 15 published parts, covering the letters A, B, E, F, G, H, IJK, L, M, N, O&P, Q&R, and S. Includes, amongst other things, a brief historical treatise on monograms with a particular focus on Great Britain. - Margins slightly browned; text block beginning to split. Overall in good condition.
