Green flexible morocco binding with gold-stamped title on the spine, framed by an Art Nouveau ornamental border (signed Theyer & Hardtmuth, Vienna), endpapers of patterned printed paper and red edges on the reverse, and a reddish-brown flexible morocco binding with a gold-embossed title on the spine in a classical cartouche, endpapers of patterned printed paper and gold edges on the reverse. Luxury copies in superb condition of two monographs by Theodor Theyer the Younger (1868–1925), director of the long-established Viennese manufacturer and wholesaler/retailer of exclusive paper and stationery, Theyer & Hardtmuth. The firm’s products, including pencils and writing paper, won awards at several international exhibitions (St Petersburg 1908, Brussels 1910). The monographs contain detailed accounts of the history of the company, which was founded in 1733. Excellently preserved luxury copies of two monographs on exclusive stationery by Theodor Theyer (1868–1925), head of the long-established Viennese manufacturer and wholesaler/retailer of exclusive paper and stationery, Theyer & Hardtmuth.
