Cloth with gold-embossed front and back titles, and gold-edged pages. Slipcase with embossed front title (cloth slightly rubbed and bumped, slipcase stained, heavily rubbed and cracked). Japanese publication in honour of the newly founded Manchukuo Republic in 1930. The numerous photographic illustrations depict mainly military scenes, as well as photographs of the ceremonial founding of the state. The illustrations are accompanied by brief captions, as well as texts on the history of Manchuria. – Slightly stained, edges slightly browned. Overall in good condition.
